How do I copy a formula over multiple columns?
Learn how to copy a formula over multiple cells
Tap, Pause and Tap Again
To copy a formula you need to open up the cell editor. To do this you must:
1. Tap on the cell you want to copy.
2. Lift your finger and pause for a brief moment.
3. Tap the cell again.
Select Fill
The cell editor will appear. Select Fill.
Drag Cell Borders
A yellow border will appear around the cell. Drag it in the direction you want to copy the formula.
Here you can see we are going to copy the formula over two additional columns.
Release
Once you release your finger, the formula will be copied.

thank you. i have been battling over an hour with numbers looking for this.
How do you copy a formula in one cell to the cells in the same column below it? I cannot seem to find a way to do this.

Thanks for this. Once I'd read this, it enabled me to do everything that I needed on Numbers.
I'm sure it's in the Apple documentation somewhere, but this was so easy to follow.
