How do I insert a column anywhere in a table?

This lesson will show you how to insert a column anywhere in your table.

Select Table

Select_table

Tap on the table to select it. It doesn't matter what cell you select.

Tap Column

Tap_column

Select the column to the right of where you want to insert the new column. In this example we are going to insert a column between columns 1 and 2.

Tap Column Header Again and Select Insert

Tap_column_header_again_and_select_insert

Tap the column header again (1) to display the menu and select Insert (2).

Done

Done

The column will be added to the left.

when I do the second click, the menu which pops up contains
cut copy paste delete fill, but no insert.

@wesley - I don't know what to tell you. I can't recreate that on my version of Numbers. I always see the menus above.
